Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) is a public engineering university in Khulna, Bangladesh. Its story is rooted in engineering education and the pursuit of knowledge through teaching, research, and practical learning.
For its alumni, KUET means more than an education. It is the classrooms, campus conversations, friendships, and shared experiences that continue to bring generations of KUETians together.
Our history
KUET traces its beginnings to Khulna Engineering College, established in 1967. The institution became Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT), Khulna in 1986, and was elevated to Khulna University of Engineering & Technology in 2003.
These names mark different chapters of a shared story. Whether remembered as KEC, BIT Khulna, or KUET, the institution remains a common starting point for generations of graduates.

Learning & discovery
